It is interesting to the reports shows a lot of unmet needs for using Artificial Intelligence in Spend Management with about 80% of the responses indicating they they don’t deploy analytics in this part of their law department. Meanwhile 42% indicate they have plans to initiate activity in this area. What I find most interesting however is the of the 20 technologies the survey asked about; Legal Spend Analytics was rated as one of the least effective.

My conclusion is that the Legacy analytics systems attached to the e-BIlling platforms just don’t provide the insights Law Departments are looking for. This is exactly why Legal Decoder exists.
